Our sluice boxes are used as small-scale gold mining equipments or gold prospecting equipments. They feature a foldable design and a lightweight body constructed with premium aluminum alloy, which makes them extremely lightweight & portable. A pumping system is always required to work with a sluice box. These equipments are used to help prospectors or miners make the process of examining the collected streambed materials up to 200 times faster than by simply using a pan. A sluice box works by using the fact that gold is much denser than other materials. As the collected materials flow through the sluice box, the gold will rapidly fall through the gaps and ends up being trapped on the rubber mat or along the "riffles." The other materials will just run through the device and back in the stream or river.
